About our team

Katie has significant experience in working in the Infrastructure Advisory space. She has a strong interest in social infrastructure and public transport. Being a bit of a nerd, she has formal qualifications in Behavioural Science and Mathematics and enjoys applying her skill sets to complex real-world problems.

Over her career she has authored and managed the production of several long-form and short-form business cases, formal reports, executive briefing documents, and presentations.

She is also an experienced Project Director and Project Manager. She has successfully delivered many large, multi-disciplinary projects. She also has a detailed understanding of the lifecycle of complex assets. 

​

She has spent considerable portions of her career working in the public transport space, resulting in significant knowledge of Victoria’s heavy and light rail operations, asset bases and the operational and funding constraints relating to their ongoing maintenance and renewal. 

​

Developing and leading high-performing and collaborative teams that are focussed on best-for-project outcomes is her thing. During her time as Advisory Sector Leader at Mott MacDonald, she doubled the size and revenue of the advisory business in Victoria over a two-year period, while also delivering her own suite of projects.

​

Katie is at her best when able to apply her people and technical skills in tandem. These skills allow clients to understand and make decisions on their complex asset bases. Alongside strong analytical skills, she can develop and deliver clear arguments and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and senior executives. 

​

In her free time Katie loves nothing more than to spend time with her human and animal family. She also loves tinkering on the her property, although she has earned the nickname 'Calamity Jane' for her innate ability to bite off more than she can chew.

Katie is a chicken nerd, breeding her own flock during Spring and Summer. She is an active member of her local Poultry Club, giving her a way to connect to a diverse group of mad chicken people.
